SoCal Volunteers
Our Los Angeles, California based facilities are actively recruiting both new and experienced animal volunteers.
Volunteers assist with one-on-one or group socialization helping to increase confidence, lower stress and have fun! There are other ways to give your time including animal transportation, adoption events and more.
Requirements:
All volunteers must attend a scheduled orientation and basic training.
Transport volunteers must own or lease their own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
Most importantly, be ready to share your love of animals!
Out-of-State Volunteers
Not local? For those outside of Southern California, there are many ways to get involved remotely including promoting our adoptable animals, spreading awareness on social media, serving as state and international directors, and fostering in response to disaster and non local emergencies. We need help everywhere, both nationally and internationally to care for animals in need.
Requirements:
All volunteers must complete a phone or video interview. Further training may be required.
Transport volunteers must provide proof of vehicle ownership and a valid driver’s license.
Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
Most importantly, be ready to share your love of animals!
